WE WANT YOUR INPUT!

The Priority Setting Committee of the U.S.-México Border Health Commission (BHC) is in the process of reviewing ideas to provide guidance for future Border Health Commission priorities. Although we can only select a few areas for the work plan years 2009-2010, we want as much input as possible.

All interested parties are invited to submit ideas, which would help with this process. We suggest that all ideas submitted meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Ensure borderwide application.

  • Encourage binational collaboration.

  • Reference the 2010 Healthy Border agenda.

  • Produce measurable outcomes.

  • Promote partnerships with existing programs or collaborators that leverage other resources.

Your input should be submitted no later than December 5th, 2008 in the form of a brief paragraph(s) and less than 500 words total, by e-mail to bhc@borderhealth.org or in writing to the address indicated below. Please note that this is a request for ideas and is NOT a request for detailed proposals. Also, make sure you include sufficient contact information to allow for appropriate follow-up.

The BHC’s Priority Setting Committee will review all submissions received by the specified deadline.

On behalf of the BHC’s Priority Setting Committee, the BHC thanks you for your interest and commitment to border health.
